Stainless Steel Upgrade

Torch attacks happen, and when they do you will be ready with this 3/16" thick, stainless steel plate option. It protects the heart of the lock system by covering: the combo box area, hardplate, relock and striker (which is the primary piece of linkage being locked out). We offer one size that is 8" by 12", and another size plate that measures 16" by 12" (which will cover both dials if you get the Twin Lock System option). It will be visible on the outside (like shown in the 8" by 12" size pictured to the left). This adds to the commercial look of the safe, which customers really enjoy.

4 Ft Of 7 Gauge Reinforcement

The more steel, the better. Two, full, 4ft sheets of 7 gauge (3/16") are heavily welded to the right and left side of the interior safe wall. Bringing the wall thickness to a total of 3/8" thick. For an extra fee, we can line this 3/16 anywhere you want, but we already placed it at the most common, and comfortable level burglars attack for a long period of time, considering you bolt the safe down against a wall. One of the few TR (Torch Resistant) gun safes on the market. This layer of 7 gauge (3/16) will resist torches (video). Electronic Lock

We only recommend Electronic Locks to be used for people who have a hard time seeing the numbers on standard dials, because, like most electronic devices, they are not made to last forever. It's more beneficial to have a dialing combination lock which truly lasts a lifetime! These are high quality dials (not cheap), being UL listed for 100,000 openings. THIS OPTION DOES AFFECT THE WARRANTY! These are warranted for two years including locksmith entries. Once you are past the two year mark, where we state we will cover locksmith entries in our warranty is then voided. See warranty for more details.

Locksmith Resistant Hard Plate Upgrade

In addition to the hardplate that comes standard with every Sturdy Safe, we offer a diamond/ carbide bit resistant, machine tool pin hardplate, as hard as ball bearings, to keep locksmiths out. (It's hard enough for a locksmith to break into a Sturdy Safe as it is, so this option is an over kill for most.)It protects the primary linkage being locked out all the way to it's source. Dri-Rod Dehumidifier

Just plug it in and forget about it. This is great for those without a fire lined safe, next to an outlet, because our fire liner is such a great insulator, most don't need to get a dehumidifier, however, you can still have one if you desire. An electrical hole is automatically given when ordered.

Largest Eva Dry

This dehumidifier requires more work than the Dri Rod, however, it comes in handy if you are not placing the safe next to an outlet. According to the package, once indicator says it's wet, you must plug it into an outlet for 10-12 hours till it's dry enough to put back in the safe. This is great for those without a fire lined safe, next to an outlet, because our fire liner is such a great insulator, most don't need to get a dehumidifier, however, you can still have one if you desire.

AR's take up more room than standard rifles with scopes, so add this option if over half of your collection is AR's and we will make sure the gun rack you choose has enough room for AR clearance from the wall of the safe.

Semi gloss enamel color changes now available. These look good in combination with the gold hardware option. Most often, these color changes will still have a slight texture because we will paint over the gray granite finish with the new color. The whole outside body, as well as, in and outside of the door will be painted the new color, but the inside body we leave a solid light gray to reflect light better. In addition, the extra hot penetrating welds on the front of the door stand out more with a solid color change, in comparison to our standard gray granite color.

Guaranteed Delivery Day

Shipping is already included in the safe total, so this is an extra option. 95% of safes shipped arrive on the ESTIMATED Time of Arrival (ETA) anyways, however, if you need to ensure they do because you are taking days off work, or hiring a crew to meet you, this option is available. If they don't deliver on the ETA, we can get you a full refund of the shipping amount + delivery guarantee charge, and have the safe rescheduled for delivery another day. We will issue you a full $120 refund if the freight companies do not have this option available to your area. Delays from Acts Of God (such as weather problems) are not covered.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT OUR STANDARD SHIPPING ALREADY INCLUDED- We will arrange for the customer to contact the freight company to verify any delays in delivery. The freight companies are willing to store the safe up to 3 business days, without charging, if you can't receive it on the day they want to deliver. Read our FAQ page for more shipping details.

Smaller 28ft Freight Truck

Most freight companies will deliver with full sized freight trucks, however, we will look into getting a smaller truck if you have a tricky driveway a full sized truck can't maneuver in. Usually, these are 28ft trailers, and you still need to account for the tractor itself. Due to some locations, it could delay the estimated day of arrival, but we will notify you immediately. If you feel you could have issues with any freight trucks to your location, please let us know in advance, or the freight company will only have the option of dropping it off curbside.

Garage Delivery

This is a free option if you have cleared a path for the pallet jack and have a smooth surface for it to roll on from the truck into the garage. If they cannot get close to your garage with the freight truck, do not expect them to deliver it inside the garage. They will not take the safe off the pallet or unwrap it.

Decorative Decals

At no extra charge, Sturdy offers 7 decorative decals. You put them on.

Reinforced Bolt Down Holes

This option exposes the holes for the steel tubing guides, (which are inside every fire lined safe) if you want to bolt the safe down. If you chose not to expose the holes, and wanted to do so in the future, we will dimple the location to make sure you hit the steel tubing guides inside. You will just be drilling through 14 gauge to expose the guides.

1/4" Electrical Hole

This will come automatically if you order the Dri-Rod. We place the hole towards the bottom of the back wall on the right side, if you don't request it anywhere else.
