Love the build and quality of the safe. It’s heavy due to the thick gauge steel which I like. It serves its purpose and then some. Some may say it’s expensive, I say you get what you pay for. The Safe Movers agreed that this 2432-6 Model safe is manufactured with quality, heavy steel and tight tolerances.

They had just moved a large 1,300 pound safe that was made by a company out of Utah that did not come close to the rigors of this safe.

The S&G direct Drive Combination lock is a fantastic upgrade from the other S&G locks we have had in the past.

I value things that just get the job done and I know will work. If it’s not reliable then I don’t want it. I chose right when I chose Sturdy Safe. It’s a real safe. Not a box that just looks like a safe. I’ve had it 3 years now and I’m more confident in it now than the day I bought it.

A couple of years ago someone discarded a stolen and pried open an $800-$1k store bought safe in my neighborhood. The tiniest bit of googling suggested my more expensive safe wasn’t much better even though it cost more. The mental image of this sight kept popping in my head annoying me. I needed an upgrade.

My new Sturdy is nowhere near as pretty as a 5-spoke pin-striped glossy color coordinated living room queen with sixteen 1.5” locking bolts and 4” composite door, but holy cow is it built sooooo much better! I thankfully stumbled across one of Sturdy’s videos by dumb internet search luck, and then watched every single video they had at the time.

I just received my 3rd Sturdy Safe. This one is the 3224-6, Most Popular, fire lined, D-Drive lock. It is replacing a close to 20 year old 3627 that I just sold to a friend. In my opinion, Sturdy Safe can't be beat. I don't have "Safe Queen" guns and my gun safes are protect them, not be pretty. I anticipate this will be my last Sturdy Safe, but if I ever need another one, I will be back here.

This is an actual "safe" in that is pry resistant and has a great lock! It can be hidden under a computer monitor so it will be easily accessible. It is not a drop and pop item but a "how do you even start" safe. Great Value!

Just purchased a 4227-6 safe in October of 2024. Shipment to North Carolina went well and without incident . Had the safe delivered to a local gun safe store that moves these for a living. The delivery crew and I are very impressed with the safes quality. I opted for the fireproofing option, and love the simplicity of the mechanical lock. I added a 6-LED light kit, electrical outlets and high temp Goldenrod. I also opted for gun-rods in lieu of traditional gun racks. I have 3 other safes and prefer them in every safe. I have yet to load up with firearms, but seems to have amply space to hold a lot of pistols, and pcc’s
I spent almost a year researching all the various manufacturers and looking at a lot of them in person. In the end I kept coming back to Sturdy as a better buy. If you’re on the fence, jump down and take the plunge. You won’t regret it.

Bought mine back in back in 2020 and wanted to go through the everyday use before posting a review. Extremely happy with my purchase 4 years later. Everything about the ordering process was smooth and the communication from Sturdy throughout the process was great. Received safe and installed with the help of a skid-steer...lol. Dinged it up getting it in place but Sturdy provided touch-up paint with the safe. After years of use, everything works and looks great. Plenty of room initially but you will find that you will put more and more valuables in there so space will always be at a premium in these things. Glad I got this size. Installed motion activated lights that really compliment the safe. Absolutely happy with the purchase and Sturdy. Well worth the money and peace of mind.

This is basically a followup review for a review from years back. I have the 48-inch safe, with fire insulation, in my outside tractor garage, and I wish I could give it higher than 5 stars after several years of use. I had seen a video of a house that literally burnt to the ground, but the guns, ammo, cash, and documents inside his charred Sturdy Safe were still in pristine condition. That sold me on Sturdy Safe, and I am so happy with my purchase. My safe is gorgeous with the speckle finish, and massive. It weighs one ton, so I used a forklift to get it into position. That said, the company has great service, ordering was easy, and delivery was smooth. The fit and finish are impeccable. The heavy door fit is so precise and smooth, prying is impossible. But opening the door is as smooth as butter. The exterior is super strong. This is a seriously "Sturdy" safe. I added strip lighting, a heat source, and a dehumidifier inside. It can store rifles, handguns, ammo, and basically anything I want. After a while, I wanted another rifle rack bar, and Sturdy Safe sent me one for an exact fit. Fantastic service! Anyone I show it to has just been open-jawed, in awe of the safe. After several years of 98 percent humid heat (like it is right now) and sub-freezing temps, my firearms are still dust and corrosion free. The exterior still looks like it is brand new. If I buy another safe, it will certainly be a Sturdy Safe.

Purchased vault door. Was quick and easy to order. All details were provided for my install crew. Door is high quality. Very impressed. 100% would recommend. I looked at several companies and most were just trying to sell inferior products at elevated prices. Customer service after the sale is outstanding. Answered all my questions promptly and professionally.

I've owned one of these since 2015 and I've had zero issues with it. I'd highly recommend it. As a word of caution for anyone maybe reading this, this safe absolutely destroyed one of those "heavy duty" appliance dolly's that Costco sold back in 2015. Be very careful when moving this safe. My neighbor ended up coming over with his ATV with a winch (with 2x6's) to help get it up 2-3 concrete steps that I have in my front yard.

I purchased a 2419 years ago. I have been very happy with it. I have been telling friends or anyone needing a safe about this company. When it became time to get another safe, I chose the 3224. I called and was given a discount for being a return customer. It was delivered less than a month from my order date. The quality is superb and identical to my original purchase. You cannot go wrong with this brand.

I was going to need a second safe, and was finishing out my basement, and costed out building a vault, it was a no brainer. Delivered right on schedule, zero issues. Due to the way my basement was designed, there was a perfect 21' x 8' section that I blocked off and installed the vault door on. Total cost was less than a safe, with ten times the room for storage. Also camouflaged the door with a small shelf unit that slides out of the way, and installed cameras outside looking at the door, and inside at the entry to the vault for added security. Couldn't be happier.

Great safe! Perfect size for my available space and collection. Ordering and delivery process was excellent. 6 months same as cash with PayPal.
Ordered mine without fireproofing and a custom size floor mounting plate and was able to move it indoors and downstairs by myself with a rented stair climbing dolly. Likely this is the largest size for a solo move.
Fit and finish on this safe is Awesome and it looks great too!

Over a year and a half ago I bought the economical 3224 model safe without the fireproofing so when I heard Sturdy Safe was making this product I knew I wanted to get it for mine. The install was super easy but I would suggest if you know you’re going to install this on your safe, make sure you leave some room to wrap it around it. Also give a light wipe down of the blanket to get rid of any small loose fibers. Now with the blanket installed it looks like I just have a large piece of furniture wrapped with a heavy duty protective sheet so it adds a hidden factor to it for anyone who walks into my room.
